Estérelle Payany is a journalist and cookery author. With degrees in Lettres Modernes and Sciences de l'Information et de la Documentation, she defines herself as a "joyful everyday cook" and has passed her CAP de cuisine. The author of over thirty culinary books, she has been a food critic for Télérama Sortir since 2015. She is currently working on a PhD in Information and Communication Sciences dealing with the representations, invisibility and media exclusion of professional cooks in the 20th century.
