Lyon or the possibility of a romance? For the Mey couple, it's a resounding yes! He, originally from Chambéry, earned his stripes as a chef with Christian Têtedoie. She, Brazilian by birth, arrived in the Gones capital 20 years ago to train at the Institut Bocuse. It was at the Marguerite restaurant in the 8th arrondissement, where she is head chef and he is second, that they passionately pursued their love of cooking. Then, together, they opened Les Apothicaires, where for six years, working four-handed, they held their own against the city's many fine establishments. Their complicity is still alchemically pure: in October 2024, they will embark on a new adventure: at the heart of a completely redesigned setting, the duo will open a two-headed establishment, with a gourmet restaurant on one side and a French brasserie on the other.
