Description
Founded in 1834 in Saumur, the house that created Triple Sec now offers some 100 spirits, all handcrafted. Distillerie Combier is one of the oldest distilleries in the Loire Valley. Founded in 1834, it is still in operation in the very heart of the town of Saumur. It takes advantage of its position at the center of the Garden of France to source local produce: fruit, flowers and aromatic plants. With a history spanning almost two centuries, the company's master distillers have a unique know-how: they are at once travelers, gardeners, cooks, engineers and bold, innovative thinkers, and have never ceased to create new elixirs, making up an exceptional French heritage, recognized since 2016 by the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label.
